Glory Stories

“When you live a faith life God gives you a story that gives Him glory!”

I had been struggling for almost a year with my fingers and wrist bones in pain and inflamed most days that when doing normal tasks like lifting things, combing my daughter hair or lifting a mug up it would be very painful and sometimes I would drop things in pain not able to complete a chore. From seeing the doctors I was using tablets and creams to manage the pain started struggling more even my hip and they had suspected rheumatoid arthritis as my mother had it, and they did blood test to see if it was arthritis. Many a times my fingers would lock into a position for a few minutes when things were at their worst and it would be so painful.

(She came to the Freedom Night at the end of June and received prayer)

Since the prayer from Pastor Joel I’ve had no pain and have been able to do everything I was struggling with before without pain. The test results came up clear and I thank God for that healing.

The Bible verses I have been standing are: –

The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands.
Ps 138:8 NKJV

But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.
Isa 53:5 NKJV

Thank God all pain is gone! Praise God!

“I opened Facebook on Monday morning and noticed Faith Life prayer was live. It was 6am. I tuned in and began to pray. I didn’t know it was a week of prayer but somehow noticed it on Monday morning, and I am so grateful. I was in hospital for 3 days after a massive asthma attack at home. Around a week before this two scriptures had been given to me.

Isaiah 54:17, ‘no weapon formed against me shall prosper”

Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

The leader online was saying God was working and present in the lives of every person. The leader said she saw us standing strong, and I took it! I was encouraged to start to see things coming into line and to thank God that He was surrounding every one of us.

The leader said if you fall 7 times, you will arise! I had actually been given 7 nebulisers. These are high doses of liquid medicine you breath in.

I felt the tangible presence of the Lord with me in the hospital during prayer. I began to focus on the victory, on getting up and out of this situation. I saw myself standing strong.

I believe God healed me. I am back home with my family. I’m so thankful for the prayer and for the chance to join on Monday morning. I am continuing to stand on the scriptures God gave me. I feel encouraged to keep standing strong and keep running after God’s plan for my life.”

Praise God!
