Our story
Faith Life Centre began with a conviction to build strong Word and Spirit churches across the North of England.
In 2002, Joel and Evangeline Taller met while training at Rhema Bible Training Centre in Tulsa. After graduating in 2004, their hearts were stirred by a prophetic vision of a move of God flowing from the UK into Europe and beyond.
Joel and Evangeline meet at Bible training college and receive ministerial training.
A clear conviction grows to serve the UK and help build churches shaped by both the Word and the Spirit.
Faith Life Manchester launches on 9 January. What began as a step into the unseen becomes an established church family.
The vision expands as Faith Life becomes one church in multiple locations.
A third location continues the mission to reach and establish people in strong faith.

Our present
Faith Life is a growing family in Manchester, Preston, and Harrogate. We are strengthening discipleship, outreach, teams, and every area of ministry so strong churches can make a strong impact across the North of England.
Our future
Our vision is to develop training that equips people for effective life and ministry, increase capacity to serve our communities, plant churches, and release more people into the harvest field.

Strong churches
Make gathering together a priority. Worship, receive the Word, build friendships, pray with others, and become part of the life of the church.
Making disciples
Grow in your walk with God through consistent teaching, prayer, serving, and fellowship. Discover your gifts and develop them alongside a team.
Local and global outreach
Take the life-giving gospel of Jesus into your community and beyond. Everyone can pray, give, and go.
Our culture
We gather in unity and bring our best, honouring God with excellence.
We think big, grow boldly, and act on the dreams God puts in our hearts.
We are contributors, not consumers. It is better to give than receive.
Prayer is the vital work of the church and sits at the heart of all we do.
We practise uncommon kindness, honour one another, and stay there for each other.
We serve God with joy, commitment, and passion.
We prepare environments where people can encounter God’s presence, love, and freedom.
What we believe
Our beliefs shape our worship, our relationships, and the way we serve.
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and our final authority for faith and conduct.
We believe in one God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe Jesus is the Son of God, who died for our sins, rose again, and reigns in glory and power.
We believe salvation is received through Jesus and expressed through a transformed life.
We believe in the present work, gifts, power, and guidance of the Holy Spirit.
We believe followers of Jesus are called to gather, grow, serve one another, and carry the gospel into the world.
Belonging and membership
Membership is a relational commitment. The church commits to pray, provide spiritual and practical support, and create opportunities to grow. Members commit to protect unity, share responsibility, serve one another, and support the testimony of the ministry.

Pray for the church, its people, and its mission.
Use the particular gifts God has given you.
Commit to teaching, fellowship, prayer, generosity, and life together.
How we are cared for
Lead pastors provide spiritual direction and oversee the life and operation of the churches.
Location pastors, pastoral teams, and team leaders support the day-to-day care and development of people.
Trustees oversee governance, legal compliance, facilities, and significant financial commitments.
Respected external pastors provide spiritual protection, counsel, and accountability.
