You can visit the food bank on a weekly basis; our lovely team of volunteers will be there to greet you with a warm smile, a sandwich and a hot drink!

About
Feed the 5000 is Faith Life’s food bank initiative, operating from the church building to serve Manchester city centre and the surrounding areas.
Feed the 5000 began in the summer of 2015 and by the end of the year was reaching hundreds of individuals via its weekly food bank and bi-annual hamper outreach initiatives.
As with all our projects, there is a real partnership dimension to Feed the 5000. We are extremely grateful for collection points in local shops, social centres and civil offices.
The people we help are referred to us by a network of organisations including the Police, Social Services, Probation, local schools and charities working in related areas.
Christians Against Poverty Job Clubs
Our CAP Job Club provides an 8-session ‘Steps to Employment’ free online course.
The attendees will discover an increase in self-confidence and they will be better equipped to effectively apply for jobs. They will also enjoy the positive atmosphere and relationships found at the CAP Job Club. Here at Faith Life Centre our Online Course is led by Tony Jackman and Dorretta Hampson.
