covid-19 our response

A Message From Our Pastors

Following the latest advice from Public Health England to minimise the spread of Covid-19 and in response to our Prime Minister Boris Johnson, saying "all public places, restaurants, cafes and churches are to close as of Friday evening", it is not possible to gather together as we normally would, so we are preparing to live-stream our Sunday Service online at 10:00am.

The question everyone is asking is: do we use ‘Wisdom' or do we use ‘Faith'? The answer is both! We encourage you to stay filled with Faith, make sure your attention is on God, His Word, His promises and certainly make wise decisions concerning your family, your business and life.

In this season we encourage you to:

1. Feed Your Faith: make sure you’re feeding on what is going to fuel your faith. Proverbs 4 v 20 - 22
2. Laugh A Lot: a merry heart does good like a medicine
3. Take Advantage of The Time You Now Have; spend time with your loved ones, be intentional and enjoy one another
4. Use Wisdom: wash your hands often and follow the guidance provided by the NHS

We hope you all can join us online on Sunday where we will communicate how we can all stay connected and seize the opportunity to shine our light in our communities. We have an unprecedented opportunity, in a time when all of the world is looking for answers we actually have the answer! It is time for us to shine bright, speak faith, show compassion and calm the chaos all around.

Matthew 8 v 27: ‘The men were amazed and asked: “what kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey Him!”
When this storm passes quickly, and when all is said and done, we pray people will say of the church, as they did with Jesus: “What kind of people are they?” With such kindness they gave”.

If you want help, we are HERE for you! Please email any prayer requests to This email address is being protected from spambots. As pastors we are organising a ‘Special Response Care Team', who are ready and able to meet the needs of our church family. We are committed to pray for you on a daily basis.

If you want to help, there are multiple ways you can serve people in your community who are vulnerable at this time. We are looking for volunteers who can help care for our church family and our neighbours in our region. We will share more details during our 10am live-stream service this Sunday.

Faith Life Family, we will not just make it through this season, we will come out stronger, closer and better connected! I declare we will SOAR not just endure!

Lots of Love, Pastors Joel and Evie
