We ♡ MCR

We love Manchester and we are a church that is passionate about serving our community, reaching out and bringing restoration to the broken. FaithLife Centre operates as a Life Centre, a hub that gives life, that runs outreach initiatives to reach our city. Our vision is to give life through outreach to our communities and serve our city.

Outreach

Surround Outreach

We believe the Love of God makes a difference. Join the Evangelism Team who will go on the streets to share the Love of Jesus with our communities.

Next Outreach, ‘Surround Manchester - North West’ is on the 2nd of June 2018 12pm from FaithLife

Food Bank

Feed the 5000 is the church’s food bank initiative, operating from the church building to serve Manchester city centre and the surrounding areas.
Feed the 5000 began in the summer of 2015 and by the end of the year was
reaching hundreds of individuals via its weekly food bank and bi-annual hamper outreach initiatives. As with all our projects, there is a real partnership dimension to Feed the 5000. We are extremely grateful for collection points in local shops, social centres and civil offices. The people we help are referred to us by a network of organisations including the Police, Social Services, Probation, local schools and charities working in related areas. In short, Feed the 5000 offers food to the homeless and those in real need.

Opening times: Every Thursday, 16:00 – 18:00.

Great Manchester Run

2018 marks the fourth consecutive year that runners from FaithLife have committed to run. Participating in the Great Manchester Run on the 20th of May is a great opportunity for the church to stand with our neighbours in opposition to fear. In light of the bombing in

Manchester in 2017 running in the Great Manchester Run makes this event even more important. With every step we run we take authority over fear. As we sow in kindness, we reap life in our city.

The registration for for the 2018 Great Manchester Run is now closed. Runners are 16 or over at the time of the run. Funds raised this year will be added to the church’s outreach projects and other partner projects. For details of how to sponsor the team, visit our Just Giving page here: Give
